There are four easy steps to follow if you want to
time travel.
Step 1. Wear whatever’s comfy.
Step 2. Keep an eye out for a blue box. A blue
police box. It changes, just a bit, over time.

Found the blue box? So, let’s move on to-
Step 3. Now, wait and see when a man walks out of the blue box. He is sometimes caught wearing odd items on his person. Like a stick of
celery or a fez. He calls himself “The Doctor”.
Then:
Step 4. Run up to him and yell “Allons-y!”
Are
you ready? Followed all the steps? Then let’s go for a short trip through time
and space. Or maybe long, it depends on whether the regeneration of the Doctor
that you’ll meet has decent parking skills.
You’re
probably wondering by now, “Doctor Who”?
The Doctor in all his
regenerations over the years, not including the much anticipated 12th
Doctor, who has yet to make an actual appearance on the show.

Doctor Who is an incredibly popular SciFi Bristish
TV series created by BBC. One of the longest running shows in the UK, nearing
its 50th year on television, it continues to induce fangirling
seizures all over the world.
It recounts the adventures of a Time Traveller from
the planet Gallifrey, who is only referred to as “The Doctor”. He uses his Time
Machine called the TARDIS to travel through space and time (sometimes even to
an alternate universe), along with “companions” he picked up along the way.
Each episode, over 700 of them, classic who and the
newest installment, contains a complex plot interconnected in a big ball of
timey wimey stuff. It could get confusing at times, especially when the Doctor
explains, so just nod when he stops for
breath (a tip from Martha Jones, one of the Doctor’s previous companions).
The Doctor very rarely travels alone, always joined
by a companion. She (very rarely a
He) gets caught up with the Doctor’s adventures and ends up accompanying him on
his travels. Though depending on the plot twists, companions either choose to
leave or are forced to part ways with the Doctor. These are usually the
heart-clenching moments where fans all over the world weep over the loss of the
companions, whom have wormed their ways into the audiences’ hearts.
Action, drama, comedy, romance and a good dose of
SciFi all rolled into one, that’s Doctor Who. So viewers, old and new should
greatly anticipate an onslaught of “feels”. Arm yourself with snacks and comfy
jammies because once you start, it’ll be hard to tear yourself away from the
screen.

Now you are fully equipped in the basic know how in
most popular Time Travelling method. You only have to wait for the Doctor to
yell “RUN!” and you’re all set. So buckle up, it’s going to be a bumpy ride
through time and space.
P.S.
While writing this, the countdown for the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary is down to 07 days, 10 hours and 38 minutes!
